What's new with Denon AVR-S970H ?

With the 'S970H, Denon has expanded its feature set for the growing 8K video and next-gen gaming market. The previous lineup of Denon home theater receivers introduced limited 8K processing, along with gaming features like Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and Quick Frame Transport (QFT). These features have been applied to the AVR-S970H on three HDMI inputs and both HDMI outputs, so you can accommodate even more modern tech into your system.

HDR (High Dynamic Range) means you'll get improved contrast and color with compatible video sources and displays. This receiver supports virtually every format, from HDR10 and HDR10+ to Dolby Vision® and new Dynamic HDR.
